Leaders of Anh Son district offered incense to workers to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son and the 60th anniversary of the district's separation.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 8, leaders of Anh Son district came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate and report to President Ho Chi Minh, predecessors and heroic martyrs at Yen Xuan temple, Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery, the district's traditional house and the district Party Committee's traditional room.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Huu Sang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council and comrades in the District Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the District People's Council, leaders of the District People's Committee; representatives of a number of departments, branches, and organizations at the district and local levels.

On this occasion, the delegation of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the district came to offer incense and report their achievements at the National Historical and Cultural Relic of Yen Xuan, Linh Son Commune, which is where the first Party Cell of Anh Son District and Nghe An Province was established in the period of 1930-1931. Next, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to pay homage to the souls of President Ho Chi Minh, predecessors and heroic martyrs at the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery; the district's traditional house and the District Party Committee's traditional room.
Over the past 200 years of being named Anh Son, 60 years since the district was established, the Party Committee, government and people of Anh Son district have always promoted the tradition of revolutionary heroism, dynamism, creativity, solidarity and consensus, achieving many important achievements in all fields. The socio-economy has developed comprehensively and stably, people's lives have been improved day by day, the work of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas has been promoted...

The above results create a premise for the Party Committee, government and people of Anh Son district to confidently carry out political tasks in the following years, successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025: "Strive to build Anh Son to develop quickly and sustainably, affirming its position among the top mountainous districts of Nghe An province".
