Comrade Nguyen Ky Cam - former Secretary of Nghe Tinh Provincial Party Committee from 1982 - 1986, currently living in Ho Chi Minh City. At 93 years old, 75 years of Party membership, he has made many contributions and dedication to the revolution, the country and his homeland.

Comrade Nguyen Ky Cam assumed the position of Secretary of Nghe Tinh Provincial Party Committee in the period after the war ended and the country was reunified not long ago; although having to deal with great difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and People of Nghe Tinh promptly transformed the revolutionary spirit in the fight against the US into a vibrant spirit in labor production and homeland construction.

During that time, Nghe Tinh province achieved some remarkable achievements. In the period of 1982 - 1985, Nghe Tinh had the initiative to produce Summer - Autumn crops to avoid natural disasters. After a successful pilot, it was expanded widely, turning the Summer - Autumn crop into the main production crop, self-sufficient in food in the whole province.
