Seeking comments on the draft Population Law
(Baonghean.vn) - There were 11 opinions at the first conference to collect comments on the draft Population Law organized by the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province on the morning of March 30.

The draft Population Law consists of 7 chapters with 39 articles. It institutionalizes many contents related to human rights, the contents stipulate relatively specific and detailed groups of subjects that need to be regulated, inheriting current laws and meeting the requirements of future population policies.
Participating in giving opinions, most delegates agreed with the goals and viewpoints of building the Population Law and believed that this was necessary to overcome the shortcomings and limitations of the Population Ordinance.

At the conference, delegates had 11 comments, deeply analyzing many different aspects of the draft Law on the basis of science, law and practice, including: Legal documents; scope of regulated subjects and general issues; population size and family planning; population structure; population distribution; population quality; conditions to ensure population work; implementation organization... These 11 comments mentioned 30/39 articles of the draft.
On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Tran Van Mao acknowledged the comments and suggestions. On that basis, the delegation will synthesize and give comments at the upcoming National Assembly session./.
