(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 3, the 7th day of Tet, the Management Board of Con Temple relic, Hoang Mai Town solemnly held the Banh Day Offering Ceremony at Con Temple..
This is a custom that has been maintained and developed for over 200 years to this day. It is a unique intangible cultural product of the locality, held on the 7th day of the first lunar month every year. It is to pray for the people to have a good harvest, national peace, and people's peace, to praise the sacredness of Con Temple, as well as the landscape and beauty of Phuong Can people past and present.

This activity aims to preserve and promote the value of the Con Temple relic in general and the Banh Day ceremony in particular. In order to have beautiful Banh Day offerings to offer to the Holy Mother on the Banh Day ceremony, previously, skillful, hard-working, and capable women of Phuong Can village were chosen to cook dozens of pots of sticky rice. The young men of the fishing village were the ones who directly pounded the cooked sticky rice into Banh Day offerings to the Holy Mother.

Since the first day of Tet, the number of visitors to Con Temple has been increasing, with thousands of people every day. The organization of the ceremonial activities at the Temple has been carefully and seriously prepared. Visitors have strictly followed the temple's regulations in worshiping, offering incense, flowers, and burning votive paper money, creating a solemn and orderly atmosphere.
