The 89th anniversary of the death of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac took place from November 30 to December 3, 2018.

Accordingly, the death anniversary ceremony will be organized on a provincial scale, in which the Festival part will take place from November 30 to December 3 (October 24 to 27, Mau Tuat year), while the Ceremony part will be organized according to traditional folk rituals, starting at 8:00 a.m. on December 3 (October 27, Mau Tuat year).

The anniversary will have activities such as: a general art program, performing excerpts from reformed opera about the life and career of Mr. Sac, about Uncle Ho and his hometown Dong Thap; a space festival of amateur music and Dong Thap folk songs; screening of documentary films about Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac and about Uncle Ho; promoting the image of Dong Thap, Dong Thap tourism, activities of the Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site; Lion and Dragon performance; reenacting the Trang Nguyen contest; organizing a student fashion contest with Ao Ba Ba Nam Bo, with the theme "The beauty of the pink lotus land"; arranging art books; displaying and exhibiting ornamental plants.

Along with that are physical education and sports activities; start-up activities, folk games; service activities and culinary culture. In addition, many activities are organized for children such as book drawing contest, book promotion contest with the theme "Forever grateful to Cu Sac" ....

In addition, in Hoa An village, there are also activities such as: Decorating traditional houses; displaying and arranging miniature landscape clusters, flower boats; lotus lanterns, five-color lanterns; spinning pinwheels, landscape panels, festival flags, flags; activities recreating the image of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac living and prescribing medicine to treat people, the image of Mr. Do writing calligraphy to serve visitors; recreating the cultural space of the countryside market and selling traditional dishes, space to experience traditional craft villages...

Through this event, we aim to educate the tradition of patriotism and gratitude of the people towards Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, who has contributed to propagating patriotic ideology to all classes of people in the country in general and the people of Hoa An Cao Lanh in particular.

The event also aims to harmoniously combine traditional and modern folk cultural activities to promote widespread dissemination to promote tourism potential, introduce the cultural identity of the homeland, country, people and tourism products to tourists, gradually build and improve the quality of typical tourism products to contribute to promoting the economic, cultural and social development of Dong Thap province.
