Murder suspect exposed for disposing of body from robbery
Police found the victim's body in a plastic bag in an empty lot, after Tai and Phi were reported by their friends.
On December 3, Binh Chanh District Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to arrest Nguyen Dien Tai (18 years old) and Nguyen Hoang Phi (21 years old) to investigate their behavior.Killing.The two suspects are security guards at a company in Le Minh Xuan commune.
Two days ago, Tai went to the police to report that Tuan (16 years old) had stolen his motorbike. When summoned by the police, the teenager admitted that he and Phi had stolen Tai's motorbike. The three of them were friends.
Tuan also said that 2 months ago, Tai and Phi told him about killing a male security guard colleague and burying the body to hide the evidence. Many detectives immediately took these two people in for investigation. Because Tuan was a minor, he was released on bail and will be dealt with later.
After many hours of twisting and turning, giving conflicting statements, Tai and Phi finally admitted to murdering Mr. Bui Van Dat (52 years old) on October 5. Previously, while working together, Phi had a conflict with this man so they planned to "beat him up".
After beating Mr. Dat, Phi and Tai, fearing that the victim would report him to the police, strangled him to death with an electric wire. They put the victim’s body in a nylon bag and buried it in an empty lot in Hamlet 1, Tan Nhut Commune (Binh Chanh District).
From this testimony, the police found the victim’s body. Mr. Dat had been missing for nearly two months but his family and company did not report it.
