The problem of counterfeit goods

Opening the discussion session, raising issues related to everyone, every family, affecting the health and interests of the people, even the race, delegate Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper said: The story of fake, counterfeit, and poor quality goods has existed for a long time, especially near the Lunar New Year.

Although the authorities have increased coordination in inspecting, checking, detecting and handling many cases of production, trading and transporting fake, counterfeit and poor quality goods, this situation shows no signs of decreasing.

On the contrary, these subjects use many business "tricks" such as promotions and rewards for buying goods to attract people, especially in rural, mountainous and ethnic minority areas.

With the responsibility of a media agency, Nghe An Newspaper has also conveyed this situation through many articles to warn the people. Therefore, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Council take action and have solutions for all levels and sectors to handle this issue fundamentally and effectively, contributing to protecting the health and interests of the people.

Also concerned about the issue of counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods, delegate Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department affirmed that this situation is widespread.

In addition to the innocent "assistance" of cadres of mass organizations and blocks, hamlets and villages in some places in introducing organizations and individuals to sell products in residential areas, sales through social networks are developing strongly and are difficult to control, so more effective solutions are needed.

Delegate Pham Thi Hong Toan also pointed out that the practice of collecting, transporting and treating waste in the city and in rural and mountainous areas is facing many problems. Each place does it differently, some bury it, some burn it, causing environmental pollution. The collection and treatment are not thorough, causing environmental pollution.

"When the waste problem is not thoroughly handled, the issues of urban civilization or new rural construction are also difficult to achieve. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee needs to come up with a comprehensive "scenario" for this story to solve it in a unified and effective manner for the whole province" - delegate Pham Thi Hong Toan emphasized.

Also concerned about environmental issues, delegate Ho Thi Thu Hien - Standing Committee of Vinh City Women's Union pointed out the current situation of small-scale slaughterhouses and home slaughterhouses still existing in many wards and communes in Vinh City, causing environmental pollution. This is also the cause of the spread of diseases in livestock; requesting the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors to pay attention to planning a centralized slaughterhouse for the city soon.

Concerned about the slow-progressing investment projects, delegate Cao Tien Trung - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council assessed that although the Provincial People's Committee has actively reviewed and revoked slow-progressing projects in the past. However, there are still projects that have been extended many times after review but have not yet been implemented; requesting the Provincial People's Committee to continue to be more drastic and resolute in revoking projects in accordance with the provisions of law.

Delegate Nguyen Van Lu proposed that the province should have drastic solutions to attract dynamic projects, increase revenue; combine with tax arrears collection and enforcement; resolutely implement conclusions after inspection of apartment buildings; resolve some pressing environmental issues...

There are places that seem "open" but are still expensive.

Acknowledging the determination of all levels and sectors in administrative reform, delegate Le Thanh Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of Cua Lo City Party Committee said that although there have been changes, there has not been much recognition from businesses and people.

Also expressing concerns about administrative reform, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong said: Although the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee set a requirement for administrative reform to be reported every 3 months and the Provincial People's Committee also directed strongly, in practice, the operation is very unstable.

If we check according to the regulations and procedures, the time to resolve the needs of businesses, there will not be many backlogs, but in practice, there are still problems and we do not know where the problems are; there are places that seem "open" but still have problems.

There is a situation where a business's file is submitted to a state agency for processing, and should have been resolved by the scheduled time, but they are asked to withdraw the file and resubmit it.
