Tornado causes damage in Khanh Son commune - Nam Dan

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 2:00 p.m. on June 16, 2015, a sudden tornado left residents of hamlets 4 and 5, Khanh Son 1, Khanh Son Nam Dan commune, unable to react.

Many electric poles fell down because of the tornado

The tornado broke 70 large trees, especially 7 medium voltage power poles, nearly 1km of line 973E15-15 was damaged, estimated damage of about 500 million VND.

Immediately after the tornado, the Party Committee, the government, departments, branches, and organizations of Khanh Son commune and Nam Dan Electricity were present to promptly cut off the power to ensure the safety of the power grid and the lives of the people, at the same time mobilizing forces to quickly clear fallen trees, ensure traffic in the area and deploy plans to replace temporary poles, reconnect power lines to soon restore power to serve production and people's lives./.
