On this special afternoon, students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted listened to severely wounded soldier Tran Quoc Te tell about his years of fighting to liberate the South and then performing international duty in Cambodia. After the war, he suffered a 91% disability and has been associated with the Nghe An Nursing Center for Wounded and Sick Soldiers since 1982. Currently, the Center for Nursing Wounded and Sick Soldiers is caring for and nurturing nearly 70 seriously wounded and sick soldiers from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. Among them are female wounded and sick soldiers. Each gift that the children send is not only a thank you but also shows gratitude and respect for the previous generation, the heroes and revolutionary soldiers who sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
