The production index of some key economic sectors of Vietnam increased by over 10%. Total state budget revenue is estimated at over 1.18 quadrillion VND, equal to 105.1% of the estimate. Gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to increase by 2.58%. Trade activities still have significant developments. The whole year's import and export turnover exceeded the 660 billion USD mark. According to this result, Vietnam is among the top 20 economies in international trade. With a total foreign direct investment capital of 26.46 billion USD, it proves that Vietnam is still an attractive destination for investors...

The damage and losses caused by the epidemic have been minimized thanks to the determination and efforts of the entire political system and people of the whole country. Social policies, ensuring social security and welfare, and human security are still guaranteed, creating strong changes in social development management, implementing social progress and equity, improving the quality of life and happiness of the people... Thanks to that,people's trust and consensusfor the Party, the State and the socialist regime are consolidated; the mettle, will and fine traditions of our people, nation and Party are affirmed.

The Year of the Ox 2021 is also the year our Party leaves a special mark in building and rectifying the Party and the political system. Inheriting and promoting the spirit from previous terms, the 13th National Party Congress affirmed its political determination with the policy of "Strengthening the building and rectification of a clean and strong Party and political system". This is a correct, accurate and popular policy. In particular, through the fact that a series of cadres and Party members, many of whom are under the Central management and have committed "unpopular" acts, have been brought to justice, showing the determination to cleanse and purify the Party to become cleaner and stronger, worthy of the trust and expectations that the people have placed on the Party, the State and the political system. The people understand that when "the will of the Party and the heart of the People" are blended, when the Party truly puts the interests of the people, the interests of the nation and the people above all else, our country will certainly become increasingly prosperous. That is also the basis, the solid foundation that ensures the survival of our Party and the survival of our regime.

The Year of the Tiger 2022 is a year of many important events for the country, a pivotal year for implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, with many heavy goals and tasks. Besides advantages and opportunities, our country continues to face many difficulties and challenges. In particular, the Covid-19 pandemic, although gradually controlled, is still complicated and unpredictable, significantly affecting economic recovery and development and ensuring people's health and life. Natural disasters, storms and floods are forecast to continue to develop complicatedly. Meanwhile, with extremely sophisticated, unpredictable and cunning plots and tricks, hostile, reactionary and political opportunists are still frantically fighting against our country's revolution. Reality requires us to comprehensively implement the following tasks: Along with promoting production, business and socio-economic development, the entire Party, people and army must continue to give top priority to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic; At the same time, we must constantly raise our vigilance and clearly identify to proactively and resolutely fight against the plots and sabotage tricks of hostile, reactionary, and opportunist political forces.

Although there are still some dark spots, it can be affirmed that the achievements that Vietnam has achieved in 2021 are very important and meaningful. They are the result of the efforts and determination of the entire Party, the entire political system, the entire people and army. These encouraging achievements are a very important foundation, creating momentum and adding motivation for Vietnam to step into implementing the goals and tasks of 2022. At the same time, they open up for us many new opportunities, new beliefs, new spirit, new motivation to enter the new Spring of Nham Dan 2022.

When the people's hearts are in favor - the country is strong - the Party's fortunes are on the rise, we firmly believe that the country will prosper, everything will be successful, and a good new year with many bright colors will unfold.
