(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 30, under the chairmanship ofComrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee,The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on the implementation of key projects and works in the province; and the project to strengthen technical equipment for the provincial police force.

Comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen attended the conference.

Overview of the conference.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An currently has 37 key projects and works that need to be focused on and directed by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Among them are 11 industrial investment projects, 07 infrastructure investment projects in industrial economic zones, 06 technical infrastructure traffic works; 06 investment projects in housing, services, tourism, healthcare; 07 investment projects in agriculture.

The total capital expected to be allocated in 2016 and 2017 is 715 billion VND. Of which: In 2016, about 247 billion VND needs to be allocated to focus on site clearance for 4 projects; and by 2017, 536 billion VND is needed to support the implementation of construction, relocation and site clearance for 5 projects.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that it is necessary to accompany businesses to overcome difficulties.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee focused on analyzing the difficulties and obstacles in the project implementation process. Accordingly, to speed up the progress of investment projects for key projects in the area, all levels and sectors need to focus on classifying which projects can be allocated budget capital or counterpart funds, then focus on implementing them first, then projects waiting for land bidding sources. Because, when the province has attracted investment, it must actively work with investors to focus on removing obstacles.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that it is necessary to review capital sources to remove difficulties for investors.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Director of the Provincial Police Department presented a report on the project to strengthen technical equipment for the provincial police force.

Also in the afternoon, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on the "Project to strengthen technical equipment for the Provincial Police force, contributing to meeting the requirements of security and order protection tasks in the new situation".

Comrades in the Standing Committee said that in order to meet the requirements of the task of protecting security and order, it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of state management of security and order in the province. The entire political system needs to get involved to mobilize all people to actively participate; improve the fighting capacity and responsibility of specialized forces, and perform well the task of protecting national security and social security and order in all situations.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed: To resolve capital problems for 37 key projects, all levels and sectors need to prioritize urgent projects such as ports and roads. In addition, it is necessary to determine which projects with large investment capital, creating many jobs and contributing large amounts of tax to the budget, then focus on doing them first.

Regarding site clearance, the locality where the project passes through must be responsible for handing over the clean site to the investor. Avoid creating hot spots when carrying out site clearance; need to be resolute to complete on schedule but also have to implement maximum policies for the people. All levels and sectors need to build clear policy mechanisms; make policies transparent for investors. Besides, it is also necessary to find out information about investors to avoid misinformation during project implementation.

Regarding the content of strengthening technical equipment for the provincial police force, the Provincial Party Standing Committee highly agreed with the contents and solutions set out in the project.
