MobiFone gives 50 health insurance cards to poor households

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 25, at the People's Committee of Hung Binh Ward, MobiFone Service Company Region 6 held a ceremony to present Health Insurance cards to disadvantaged households. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Social Insurance, Vinh City People's Committee,MobiFone Service Company Region 6 andMobiFone Nghe An province.

As part of the program "So that the poor do not worry about medical expenses", at the ceremony, 50 health insurance cards were given by MobiFone to 20 poor households with frequent illnesses in Hung Binh ward.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai and representatives of MobiFone Service Company Region 6 presented health insurance cards to 20 poor and often sick households in Hung Binh ward.

This is one of three meaningful activities within the framework of the program "Social security and community development in Nghe An province" signed by MobiFone and the Provincial People's Committee to be implemented from September to December this year in the province with a total value of 2.5 billion VND.

Along with 1,000 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND for 1,000 poor students who have overcome difficulties and studied well; 5 houses of gratitude for Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services, according to the agreement, 2,000 health insurance cards will be given to disadvantaged people. In particular, the localities with the largest number of cards awarded are Vinh City, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu and Thanh Chuong districts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged MobiFone's contributions to the community over the past time to Nghe An province. He also hoped that with the support of MobiFone's health insurance cards, households will reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Phan Trong Bieu - Deputy Director of MobiFone Service Company Region 6 affirmed that MobiFone always joins hands to contribute to community activities.
