Food and medicine to cure cataracts

Cataract is a disease that causes vision loss in the elderly. The disease is not easy to cure, but we can improve it with the following medicinal foods.

Lesson 1: Pig liver soup with poisonous needle

Ingredients: 100g pork liver, 15g Chinese clematis root, enough spice powder.

Preparation: Wash and slice the pork liver, put it in a clay pot with the Chinese clematis root, boil 800ml of water until there is 400ml left, remove the Chinese clematis root, add the seasoning powder. Serve with rice.

Lesson 2: Goat liver porridge, spinach

Ingredients: 100g spinach, 50g goat liver, onion, ginger, enough MSG, 25g lard, 100g glutinous rice.

Preparation: Wash and chop spinach. Add oil to the pot and stir-fry goat liver with spinach, add seasoning powder and stir-fry until cooked.

Clean sticky rice, cook with 1 liter of water into porridge, then add goat liver, spinach, ginger and onion, stir well. Divide into 2 meals a day.

Lesson 3: Yam porridge

Ingredients: 9g of nightshade, 30g of yam, 9g of dodder seed, 60g of rice, a little brown sugar.

Preparation: Put 3 herbs in a cloth bag and put it in a pot, add 1 liter of water, boil down to 600ml, add washed rice and brown sugar, boil over high heat then simmer until it becomes porridge. Eat during the day, continuously for 15-30 days.

Lesson 4: Jelly porridge, cassia seed

Ingredients: 25g cassia seed, 10g cassia seed, 10g white chrysanthemum, 6g rock sugar, 100g rice.

Preparation: Put 3 herbs in a pot, add enough water, boil for a while, remove the residue, filter the water and add the washed rice to cook into porridge, add sugar and stir well. Use 1 dose per day, divided into 2 times, morning and evening. 3-5 days is 1 course of treatment.

Lesson 5: Goat liver soup with chrysanthemum

Ingredients: 10g white chrysanthemum, 60g goat liver, 10g wolfberry, 10g mugwort.

Preparation: Wash and thinly slice the liver; wash the mugwort, chrysanthemum, and wolfberry and put them in a cloth bag. Put everything in a pot, add water, cook thoroughly, then remove the medicine bag. Eat the liver and wolfberry and drink the soup.
