A woman in Nghe An died nearly 2 months after being bitten by a rabid dog.
(Baonghean.vn) - After being bitten by a rabid dog but not getting enough vaccination, after nearly 2 months, Ms. H. residing in Dien Thap commune, Dien Chau district, got sick and died.
On May 23, Dien Thap Commune Police (Dien Chau) confirmed that a citizen residing in the area died last night (May 22) due to being bitten by a rabid dog.
Nearly 2 months earlier, Ms. Nguyen Thi H, born in 1973, residing in Hamlet 3, Dien Thap Commune, did business in Laos and was bitten by a local dog.

Ms. H. had received one rabies vaccination. However, due to her subjectivity, after returning to her hometown, she did not continue to receive enough vaccinations. On May 21, she showed symptoms of hiccups, difficulty breathing, fear of water, fear of noise and light, and panic, so her family took her to the Nghe An General Hospital for emergency care. There, Ms. H was diagnosed with rabies and was transferred to a central hospital by her relatives.
Because she could not be saved, on the evening of May 22, Ms. Hoa was brought home and died.
Currently, the family has organized the victim's funeral according to local customs.
