At these meetings, the Central Disciplinary Committee considered and concluded on the following matters:

1. Regarding the consideration and decision on disciplinary action against Party organizations and Party members.

- For the Standing Committee of the Party Committee for Overseas Affairs

The Central Disciplinary Committee agreed with the review results of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee for Overseas Affairs following the Central Disciplinary Committee's investigation into suspected violations, and did not impose disciplinary action against the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the comrades who served as Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and former Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee for Overseas Affairs.

- Regarding Colonel Nguyen Van Lang, former Provincial Party Committee member, former Political Commissar of the Ben Tre Provincial Military Command.

Comrade Nguyen Van Lang has shortcomings and violations: He did not strictly implement the working regulations, procedures, and rules on personnel work; he neglected management, lacked inspection, supervision, and internal building efforts; and he is responsible for the prolonged disunity within the unit and the wrongdoings of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command, and the unit.

The Central Disciplinary Committee decided to discipline Comrade Nguyen Van Lang with a "warning".

2 - Regarding the handling of complaints

The Central Inspection Commission has reviewed and concluded on the handling of complaints against one Provincial Party Standing Committee and five officials under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat. Based on the results of the investigation and verification, the Central Inspection Commission has clearly concluded which complaints are true or partially true; and which complaints are false, unfounded, or lack sufficient grounds for conclusion. Following the handling of the complaints, the Central Inspection Commission has requested the collective and the accused officials to seriously review their actions or learn from their mistakes.

3 - Regarding the results of the inspection of the implementation of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary tasks within the Party for the Standing Committee and Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committees of Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam Television and Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group.

The inspection revealed that Party committees and Inspection Committees in the aforementioned localities and units have paid attention to leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of inspection and supervision tasks in accordance with the Party Charter. The results of inspection and supervision work have contributed to enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations, maintaining strict Party discipline and State laws; and simultaneously directing the rectification of existing shortcomings and limitations, helping inspection and supervision work become more systematic and effective.

However, in leadership and guidance, the organization and implementation of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary tasks by Party committees and Inspection Committees at each locality and unit still have some limitations and shortcomings, such as: In some places, thematic supervision has not been promoted; in some places, regulations and procedures for inspection, complaint resolution, or disciplinary action have not been followed correctly, leading to prolonged complaint resolution and inaccurate disciplinary action; in some places, insufficient attention has been paid to the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks at their level, as well as to leadership, guidance, and professional instruction on inspection and supervision work for lower-level Party committees and inspection committees…

The Central Inspection Commission requests that Party committees and inspection commissions at all levels, localities, and units seriously learn from experience and effectively overcome shortcomings and limitations in the performance of inspection, supervision, and Party disciplinary tasks.

4 - Regarding participation in providing feedback to the Politburo's Disciplinary Appeals Resolution Teams

The Central Disciplinary Committee heard reports and provided input to the Politburo's Party Disciplinary Complaint Resolution Team regarding the complaints of comrades: Hoang Dinh Thanh, former District Party Committee member and former Chief Justice of the People's Court of Song Cau District, Phu Yen Province; and Nguyen Hoang Chuong, former Party member, active in the Kram hamlet Party branch, Ea Tieu commune Party committee, Cu Kurin district, Dak Lak province.

The Central Disciplinary Committee recommended that the Politburo uphold the disciplinary measure of "expulsion from the Party" for these two individuals.

5. At its 37th session, the Central Inspection Committee discussed and prepared the personnel plan for the 12th Central Inspection Committee to be submitted to the Politburo and the Central Committee as prescribed./.
