The conference assessed that in May, the security and order situation in the province continued to be stable. The sectors in the Bloc organized and implemented tasks according to the unit's plan and the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in the Notice of Conclusion of the Bloc meeting in April 2020. The armed forces continued to strictly maintain combat readiness and continue to do a good job in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. The authorities proactively grasped the situation and advised the Party Committee and the government to resolve cases right at the grassroots level.

The work of preventing and combating crime continues to be effectively implemented. During the month, the authorities discovered and arrested 122 cases with 160 drug offenders, confiscated 10.6 kg of heroin, 30.4 kg of crystal meth, 12 kg of synthetic drugs, an increase of 08 cases and 23 subjects compared to the previous month; discovered and arrested 388 cases with 372 subjects violating the law on economic and environmental management order, confiscated 35 kg of explosives, 113 kg of firecrackers, 18m³Wood, 5.6 tons of animals and many smuggled goods worth about 30 million VND, compared to last month, an increase of 90 cases and 75 subjects.

In the province, there were 12 traffic accidents, killing 10 people and injuring 3 people, compared to the previous month, there were 5 fewer cases, 3 fewer deaths, 3 fewer injuries; 21 cases were discovered and arrested, 168 gamblers were arrested, and more than 900 million VND was collected...

The two-level prosecution agencies have strengthened coordination in investigating, prosecuting, and trying cases to ensure compliance with legal regulations, especially cases directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Inspection and examination work has been actively implemented, detecting and recommending timely handling of violations, with a high recovery rate due to violations. The work of receiving citizens and receiving petitions has received attention from sectors and levels. During the month, agencies and units received 251 citizens, down 24.4% compared to April 2020; received 552 petitions, down 1.8% compared to the previous month...

In addition to the achievements, the security and order situation still has some issues that need attention, such as some extremist religious dignitaries continue to take advantage of the situation of buying motorbike insurance and the Covid-19 epidemic to preach, spread propaganda, and defame the regime...

The progress in resolving a number of cases that the Party Committee is responsible for monitoring and resolving is still slow compared to requirements...

Through discussion, the sectors and units in the Bloc reached an agreement that in June they would focus on advising the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct Party Congresses at all levels towards the 19th Provincial Party Congress. In particular, they would continue to advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the assurance of national security and social order and safety in the area; and continue to effectively implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Agencies and units continue to direct and have plans to resolve complex issues arising from the grassroots; step up crime prevention and control, launch peak campaigns to crack down on all types of crimes, especially murder, intentional injury, robbery, snatching, human trafficking, "black credit"; eradicate drug rings, strengthen drug smuggling across the border... At the same time, continue to focus on resolving cases and cases that have been directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee at monthly meetings.
