The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with the agencies of the Internal Affairs sector.

Fight vigorously against all types of crime

The conference unanimously assessed that in October 2025, the political security, order and social safety situation in the province was basically stable.

The armed forces strictly maintain combat readiness, ready forces and means to promptly participate in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, and search and rescue; proactively detect and advise on the proper handling of arising incidents, avoiding complications in security and order.

The authorities organized and deployed synchronous measures to prevent, combat, track down, and strictly handle all types of crimes and social evils, ensuring security and order in the area. Investigation, prosecution, and trial were carried out resolutely by the prosecution agencies.

Strengthen inspection, supervision and investigation work, focusing on cases prone to corruption and negativity... Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention to citizen reception, handling petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from citizens according to regulations.

The work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, banned goods, poor quality goods, and food hygiene and safety has been stepped up. The enforcement of civil judgments has had many positive changes, and measures for fire prevention, fire fighting, search and rescue have been deployed promptly.

During the month, there were 59 cases of crimes against social order, killing 2 people and injuring 19 people. The authorities discovered and handled 88 cases and 188 subjects transporting, storing, buying, selling, and illegally using drugs; discovered and handled 653 cases and 681 subjects violating the law on economic and environmental management; handled 8 cases and 31 subjects using high technology.

At the conference, agencies and units in the bloc reported and clarified key contents of the industry and fields; analyzed and proposed important issues, tasks and solutions in the coming time.

Grasp the situation, ensure security and order in all fields and areas

In November 2025, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested the armed forces to maintain combat readiness; prepare forces and means to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue; support people to soon stabilize their housing, especially for policy families and poor households.

Coordinate with local authorities to organize patrols and control to protect the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands; ensure national security, order and social safety in the area. Absolutely protect the safety of important events of the province, high-ranking delegations of the Party, State, and international guests visiting and working in Nghe An.

Proactively grasp, forecast, and accurately assess the situation, ensuring security in specific areas and areas. Effectively carry out State management of ethnicity and religion; effectively combat issues of taking advantage of democracy and human rights to distort and sabotage the Party and State.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requested the sectors in the bloc to propagate and effectively implement the newly passed Laws and Resolutions of the National Assembly related to the organization and operation of the agencies in the bloc. Strengthen the work of detecting and handling corruption and negativity through inspection, supervision, investigation and settlement of denunciations.

Continue to promote digital transformation, improve efficiency in serving people and businesses, and overcome "petty corruption". Improve the effectiveness of recovering lost and misappropriated assets in corruption, economic, and negative cases.

Grasp public opinion, continue to promptly handle and resolve complex, prominent issues of public concern, especially complex and crowded complaints; Resolve complaints, denunciations and recommendations right at the grassroots level, avoid cases of complaints going beyond the level, avoiding or shirking responsibility, being passive and surprised.

Authorities step up the fight against and suppress all types of crimes and law violations, ensuring security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2026. Strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety, strictly handle violations, especially for young people and students who organize racing, weaving, and disturbing public order.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requested to strengthen market management; strictly handle acts of transporting and trading fake and poor quality goods, and violating food hygiene and safety.

Focus on resolving and removing difficulties and obstacles in cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee; effectively combat activities against the Party and State; strengthen the dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
