In September 2025, the political security, order and social safety situation in the province was basically stable. The armed forces strictly maintained combat readiness, prepared forces and means to promptly participate in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue; proactively detected and advised on the proper handling of arising incidents, avoiding complications in security and order.

The authorities organized and deployed synchronous measures to prevent, combat, track down, and strictly handle all types of crimes and social evils, ensuring security and order in the area. Investigation, prosecution, and trial were carried out resolutely by the prosecution agencies.

Strengthen management, tighten discipline and administrative order. Strengthen inspection, supervision and monitoring work, focusing on cases that are prone to corruption and negativity... Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention to the work of receiving citizens, handling petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections of citizens according to regulations.

The work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, banned goods, poor quality goods, and food hygiene and safety has been stepped up. The enforcement of civil judgments has had many positive changes, and measures for fire prevention, fire fighting, search and rescue have been deployed promptly.

During the month, there were 58 cases of crimes against social order, killing 1 person and injuring 38 people. Authorities discovered and handled 97 cases, 148 subjects transporting, storing, buying, selling, and illegally using drugs; discovered and handled 557 cases, 562 subjects violating the law on economic and environmental management; 25 traffic accidents occurred, killing 16 people and injuring 17 people.

At the conference, agencies and units in the bloc reported and clarified key contents of the industry and fields; analyzed and proposed important issues and tasks in the coming time.

Speed ​​up the recovery of natural disasters and ensure security and order

In October 2025, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested the armed forces to maintain combat readiness; prepare forces and means to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue, prevent and fight epidemics, prevent and fight forest fires; support people to soon stabilize their housing, especially for policy families and poor households.

Coordinate with local authorities to organize patrols and control to protect the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands; ensure national security, order and social safety in the area, especially from now until the 14th National Congress of the Party. Absolutely protect the safety of important events of the province, high-ranking delegations of the Party, State, and international guests visiting and working in Nghe An.

Strengthen the work of grasping the situation and ensuring security in specific fields and areas, especially internal political security, cultural and ideological security, economic security, cyber security, national security, border security, rural security, and security in industrial zones.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requested the sectors to strictly implement the Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat; continue to do a good job of ideological work, ensure the regime and policies for cadres, and prevent corruption, waste, negativity, and internal problems from arising.

Continue to promptly handle and resolve complex, outstanding issues of public concern, especially complex and mass complaints. Authorities step up the fight against and suppression of all types of crimes and violations of the law. Strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety, public order, and security and order.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requested to strengthen market management; forest protection, fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue; strictly handle acts of transporting and trading fake and poor quality goods, and violating food hygiene and safety.

Strengthen the detection and handling of corruption and negativity through inspection, supervision, investigation, and resolution of denunciations; enhance the recovery of lost and misappropriated assets in corruption, economic, and negativity cases.

Focus on resolving and removing difficulties and obstacles in cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee. Strengthen the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, orienting information and propaganda on the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
