Bought 3 marijuana cakes and more than 100 ecstasy pills to sell for profit

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Police Department's Mobile Police Department has just caught a subject red-handed illegally transporting drugs for sale, seizing 3 marijuana cakes and 102 synthetic drug pills.

At around 1:00 a.m. on July 8, 2017, while on patrol duty on Vinh bypass, Trung Do ward, Vinh city, the Provincial Police Mobile Police discovered a Song Lam taxi carrying 3 young men with many suspicious signs, so they asked to stop the car for inspection.

At the time of the inspection, the police discovered inside a black backpack placed next to a young man containing 2 cakes of leaves, flowers, and fruits pressed into molds, suspected to be marijuana, and 2 plastic bags containing 102 synthetic drug pills. Immediately, the people present in the car were taken to the police headquarters for clarification.

At the police station, the group of young men confessed that the backpack containing the above drugs belonged to Le Duc Anh Tuan (born in 1994, residing in Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh).

Le Duc Anh Tuan confessed that he bought the drugs from a person in Nam Can commune, Ky Son for nearly 10 million VND and then transported them to Dong Nai for consumption.

However, because he did not know the consumer, Tuan could not sell it and brought it to Vinh City, but before he could sell it, he was discovered and arrested.

The Mobile Police Department has transferred the suspect and related evidence to Vinh City Police for further investigation and clarification.
