Bought more than 1,000 synthetic drug pills from Nghe An, hid them in potted plants for later use

Tuyen Hoa District Police, Quang Binh Province, have just successfully busted a large-scale drug case, arresting Cao Ngoc Duong, (38 years old, residing in Tien Hoa Commune, Tuyen Hoa District) with evidence of more than 1,000 synthetic drug pills.

On the afternoon of April 25, Cao Ngoc Duong drove a car with license plate 73A - 130.16 on National Highway 12C and then entered Thai Duong auto garage in Dong Le town. Here, Duong was checked by the authorities and found on his person a red and white plastic tube containing 17 round pink tablets. Duong confessed that the tablets were synthetic drugs, kept on his person for use.

During an emergency search of the suspect's residence in Tien Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district, Tuyen Hoa district police discovered 5 plastic bags containing more than 1,000 pink tablets of modern medicine hidden by Duong in a potted plant along with many other related evidences and documents.

During the investigation, Cao Ngoc Duong confessed that all of the above drugs were synthetic drugs, bought in Vinh city, Nghe An province for use.

Currently, Tuyen Hoa District Police, Quang Binh Province are continuing to expand the investigation of the case./.
