(Baonghean.vn) - Prolonged heavy rain caused many roads in Que Phong district to be severely flooded and cut off, forcing many schools to let students stay home to ensure safety.

The rain that lasted from the night of September 7 to the morning of September 8 caused many roads to be heavily flooded, and water overflowed.spillway, low-lying areas, causing traffic jams, especially in the communes of Cam Muon, Quang Phong, Tri Le, Muong Noc... Heavy rain, water pouring in, rising high, flowing fast, people cannot move.

Also due to heavy, continuous rain, verymany roads flooded, schools were isolated, preventing many teachers and students from going to class. To ensure the safety of students and teachers, some schools had to close.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district, on the morning of September 8, 3 schools including Cam Muon Secondary School; Quang Phong 1 Primary School and Quang Phong Secondary School at the end of the river had to completely close. Some classes at Hanh Dich Kindergarten; Quang Phong Kindergarten; Tri Le Kindergarten also had to close.

People's CommitteeQue Phong districthas directed communes to continue monitoring weather developments, inspecting the scene, setting up checkpoints, assigning forces to prevent people from passing through flooded areas and areas with strong currents, and especially strictly prohibiting people from collecting firewood and catching fish during floods.
