The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just received a notice from Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company about the operation of the project.discharge of Ban Ang hydroelectric reservoirdue to the increasing flow to the reservoir.

Accordingly, to ensure water regulation and operationBan Ang Hydroelectric ReservoirTo ensure safety in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to discharge water from the Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir.

Estimated time of water dischargestarting at 1:30 p.m., September 8, 2022.

Discharge flowestimated about 200 m3/s - 500 m3/s (including discharge flow through the valve gate, flow through the spillway and flow through the generator sets).

Time to end water discharge through spillway: until the flow to the lake decreases below 189.6 m3/S.

Estimated time of water dischargestarting at 10:30, September 8, 2022.

Discharge flowestimated about 13 m3/s - 90 m3/s (including discharge flow through valve gate, flow through overflow).

Time to end water discharge through spillway: until the influence of the tropical convergence zone causes heavy rain.

* On the same day, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue received Notice No. 45/TB-PQP dated September 8, 2022 from PRIME Que Phong Joint Stock Company on flood discharge operation of Chau Thang Hydropower Reservoir.

Accordingly, to ensure the safe operation and regulation of water at Chau Thang hydropower reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin, PRIME Que Phong Joint Stock Company plans to operate and regulate Chau Thang hydropower reservoir as follows:Estimated time of regulation operation:Starting from 14:30 on September 8, 2022.

Expected discharge:From 76 m3/s¸ 500 m3/s (including discharge flow through the valve gate and power generation flow through the generators) and may change depending on the water flow to the lake.

Discharge end time:Until the effects of the heavy rains subside.
