Nam Dan commends 55 models, typical examples of 'Skilled Civil Affairs' and exemplary self-management teams
(Baonghean.vn) - Mass mobilization work and the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement, activities of self-governing groups play an important role in promoting socio-economic development, building a model new rural district in Nam Dan district with 55 models, typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" and exemplary self-governing groups being commended.
Fully aware that mass mobilization work and the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement as well as the activities of self-governing groups play an important role in promoting the implementation of local political tasks, focusing on implementing the Pilot Project to Build Nam Dan District into a model new rural district in the direction of developing culture associated with tourism; in recent times, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the district have paid great attention to this work.
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued Project No. 07, dated September 11, 2018, on building self-management groups in residential communities in the district. On that basis, localities will review, consolidate and improve the quality of activities of self-management groups; contributing to strengthening solidarity, creativity, promoting the right to mastery of people in each residential area to build an increasingly better life.
Specifically, self-governing groups promote their roles, propose solutions and organize implementation to ensure security and order; mobilize households and people to voluntarily donate land, contribute working days and money to improve the appearance of rural areas and build civilized urban areas; mobilize people to build cultural life, support each other to develop the economy, and foster the spirit of neighborliness, "help each other in times of need"...
In 2023 alone, a total of 1,927 self-management groups in the district mobilized people to voluntarily donate 26,827m2land; dismantled 7,535 meters of fence; participated in 51,167 working days; contributed over 45 billion VND to upgrade and build nearly 64 km of rural roads and other social welfare works.
Mass mobilization work and the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement are systematically directed through the establishment of steering committees at all levels; every year, a steering plan is issued, clearly defining the key tasks of mass mobilization work in the following areas: Mass mobilization of the Party, government, Fatherland Front, political organizations and armed forces.
On that basis, all sectors, organizations and establishments have specified specific tasks and jobs close to reality, especially the difficult stages and key tasks that need to focus on mass mobilization work, building "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models. As a result of 5 years (2018 - 2023), the whole district has registered and built 1,015 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models in the fields of economy, culture - society, national defense - security, and building the political system.
By paying attention to mass mobilization work, promoting the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement and focusing on improving the quality of activities of self-governing groups, we have contributed to promoting development with many outstanding features.
Nam Dan District has become the leading unit in the province in terms of the number of communes meeting advanced new rural standards with 9 communes; 5 model new rural communes; and 69 products meeting OCOP standards. The district has completed 35/42 criteria for a model new rural district in the direction of developing culture associated with tourism according to Decision No. 17 of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission highly appreciated the determination, methodicalness, creativity and innovation in mass mobilization work and the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement, improving the quality of self-management groups of Nam Dan district.
Emphasizing the role of mass mobilization work, the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement and the activities of self-management teams in implementing local political tasks and movements, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also hoped that the Party committees, authorities and the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level, Nam Dan district would continue to concretize the policies of the Party and the Provincial Party Committee on mass mobilization work, closely following local realities for effective implementation, contributing to promoting and bringing Nam Dan district to develop strongly in the coming time.
On this occasion, Nam Dan District Party Committee commended and rewarded 23 collectives and 6 individuals with many achievements in organizing and building models and typical examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization"; commended 22 typical self-management groups.
At the conference, comrade Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission awarded the "For the Cause of Mass Mobilization" Medal to two comrades Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district and Doan Thi Oanh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Cat commune.
