Young Khmu man and his trick of tricking women into selling them abroad

The arrested subject is Lu Van Thuy (born in 1987), residing in Binh Son 2 village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district.

At 9:00 a.m. on August 11, at Binh Son 2 village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Keng Du Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard to arrest a subject in a ring of defrauding and illegally selling women across the border.

According to Thuy's initial statement: Since 2015, Thuy and a number of other people have tricked and sold 3 women in Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, illegally across the border; after the successful transaction, Thuy was paid 15 million VND. Currently, 1 victim has returned to her hometown, 2 victims are still abroad.

In recent times, the situation of human trafficking in mountainous areas has been quite complicated. The Nghe An Border Guard (BĐBP) has deployed many measures to combat and prevent it. After a long period of monitoring, the Nghe An Border Guard force has established and successfully broken up Project 382L, arresting Lu Van Thuy in a ring of illegally trafficking women abroad.

Currently, the Nghe An Border Guard Command is directing forces to expand the investigation, track down subjects related to the case, and complete the case file for handling according to the provisions of law.
