(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 18, the Nghe An Newspaper delegation led by Comrade Lam Van Doan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief had a working session with the Standing Committee of Yen Thanh District Party Committee on the publication and use of party newspapers in the area.

Attending and working with the Nghe An Newspaper delegation from Yen Thanh district were comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and representatives of the Propaganda Department, Department of Education, Post Office, Department of Culture - Information.

In recent times, the distribution and use of Nghe An newspaper in Yen Thanh district has been assessed as relatively good, with many units meeting and exceeding targets and using the model effectively. However, in the third quarter of 2016, the use of Party newspapers in Yen Thanh district has decreased.

Overview of the working session.

At the meeting, representatives of the units pointed out a number of reasons such as "the Post Office lacks coordination with the Department of Education, is not proactive in updating and reporting data to the Propaganda Department for measures to urge and direct; the Department of Education and the Propaganda Department are still subjective in checking and urging... Through analyzing and evaluating subjective and objective reasons, representatives of the units affirmed that they will seriously implement.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Standing Deputy Secretary highly appreciated the role of Nghe An Newspaper in carrying out the political, economic, social, national defense and security tasks of the district. He pledged to direct strongly to implement Directive No. 11 of the Politburo on purchasing and using Party newspapers and magazines better and better.
