Speaking to journalists, the Russian Health Minister said that Russia has put three vaccine samples into testing, including one pre-clinical test sample and two phase one clinical trial samples, and noted that they are safe, non-toxic, and have no unwanted side effects. The vaccines are being further researched.
One of the three samples has been selected to participate in the clinical research promotion program of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. However, the results on the high efficiency of this vaccine are not yet available.
The vaccine's disease prevention mechanism is to greatly reduce the outbreaks of the virus when it enters the body and accelerate the virus's regression.
Currently, there are nearly 80 million people in the world infected with HIV. After 30 years since the beginning of its spread, nearly 40 million people have died from the immunodeficiency disease caused by this dangerous virus.
To date, no vaccine has proven effective in preventing HIV./.
