In 2016, the Propaganda sector from the province to the grassroots level has successfully completed the assigned goals and tasks. In particular, the Propaganda sector has proactively advised the Party Committee, actively innovated propaganda work, directed, oriented and promoted the role of the press and publishing, serving political tasks. Organized the study, dissemination and implementation of Resolution XII of the Party, Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels to cadres, Party members and widely propagated to the people.

Actively and creatively advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels to direct and organize activities to celebrate major holidays. Direct and guide press and television agencies to promptly and effectively propagate the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term; deeply disseminate news and propaganda about the sessions of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. At the same time, propagate, fight and refute the distorted arguments of hostile forces.

The Propaganda Department at all levels has advised, directed and organized the implementation of Directive 11 of the Politburo on the issuance and use of Party newspapers and magazines in the province. Continue to maintain regular and timely information work, improve the quality of grasping the situation and public opinion to serve the leadership and direction of the Party Committee.

Along with that, the Propaganda Department directs, orients, and promotes the role of culture and arts in the direction of serving the political tasks of localities, agencies, and units, meeting the increasingly high demands for enjoyment of the people. Scientific and educational work, political theory education, and Party history are taken care of.

One of the key tasks of the Propaganda sector in 2016 is to actively advise on the summary of Directive 03 of the 11th Politburo to ensure quality; to proactively advise, study, thoroughly grasp and organize the implementation of Directive 05 of the 12th Politburo, which has initially achieved positive results.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Propaganda sector in 2016. Orienting the tasks for 2017, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The Propaganda sector needs to continue advising on programs, projects, and plans to implement Resolution XII of the Party, Resolution XVIII of the Provincial Party Committee, Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee, etc.

Proactively grasp the situation and advise Party committees at all levels to fight against peaceful evolution plots in the ideological and cultural fields. Strengthen coordination with forces to effectively implement regulations on inspection and supervision of the implementation of Resolutions and action programs of Party committees at all levels. Actively participate in contributing to the content of programs and projects of sectors and levels. Closely follow the grassroots, grasp the situation and orient public opinion among the people.
