The Department of Culture and Sports presents gratitude houses to people in Que Phong district.

Attending the inauguration ceremony and handing over the gratitude house were comrade Duong Hoang Vu - Chairman of the District People's Committee, representatives of a number of relevant departments and offices.

At the ceremony, the delegation presented 150 million VND to support 3 houses for 3 households in Nam Nhoong commune, Que Phong district. Representatives of the households expressed their emotions when living in new, spacious and solid houses.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh said: “In the past time, implementing the Party and State's policy on hunger eradication and poverty reduction, leaving no one behind, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of Nghe An Culture and Sports sector have always contributed to support the authorities at all levels in building a number of gratitude houses for the disadvantaged people. This is the sentiment, tradition of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Culture and Sports sector, with the desire to support the poor to have a solid house to settle down and stabilize their lives.

According to the plan, from now until 2025, the Department of Culture and Sports will support the construction of 50 houses for 50 households with a total cost of 2.5 billion VND from the contributions of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the entire department and from socialized sources./.
