On the afternoon of August 11, a working delegation of the Nghe An Health sector led by Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province inspected the Covid-19 prevention and control work at Thanh Chuong District General Hospital, Thanh Giang Commune Health Station, Ngoc Son, Thanh Ngoc, Dong Van, Dai Dong. The working delegation also included representatives of the leaders of Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital and Nghe An Eye Hospital.

During the on-site inspection at the units, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of the staff, doctors and medical staff of the Hospital and medical stations in the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic. The units have been doing a good job in investigating and monitoring people returning from epidemic areas; making medical declarations, taking samples and isolating suspected cases. |

Regarding Thanh Chuong General Hospital, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh suggested: The unit needs to better implement disease prevention plans; pay special attention to screening patients, suspected cases, and people returning from epidemic areas; ensure isolation room conditions to avoid cross-infection at medical examination and treatment facilities, if any. In the context of Covid-19 epidemic prevention, the hospital must also ensure good daily medical examination and treatment activities. |

On this occasion, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital and Eye Hospital donated air conditioners to Thanh Chuong District General Hospital; and 15 water fans to 15 medical stations. These gifts demonstrate the care and connection of upper-level hospitals to lower-level medical facilities for the purpose of protecting and better caring for people's health./.
