(Baonghean.vn) - According to the report of CDC Nghe An, today is the first day in the past 3 weeks that Nghe An has not detected any new Covid-19 cases despite taking samples for testing more than 1,000 cases per day.
According to the evening news from the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control, in the past 12 hours (from 7:00 a.m. on July 8 to 7:00 p.m. on July 8), no new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the province. Up to now, Nghe An has gone through 36 hours without any new positive cases.

This outbreak in Nghe An started on June 13. Since June 17, the province has continuously recorded Covid-19 cases. Until July 8, the first day, the whole province did not detect any cases. Meanwhile, the sampling work is still being carried out regularly, with about 1,000 - 1,500 samples tested per day. Currently, there are no samples at high risk or suspected positive awaiting results.
To date, the province has 129 positive cases of Covid-19 in 10 localities. Specifically: Vinh City: 87, Dien Chau: 18, Tan Ky: 1, Quy Hop: 5, Nam Dan: 5, Do Luong: 1, Hoang Mai: 2, Nghia Dan: 1, Nghi Loc: 4, Quynh Luu: 5. 7 patients have been discharged from the hospital, among them there is one case that tested positive again while being quarantined at home.
