October 10, 1427:The Chi Lang victory (Lang Son) - a milestone in our nation's struggle against foreign invaders. On this day, the entire vanguard of the invading Ming army fell into the ambush of the Lam Son insurgents and was completely destroyed. The Chi Lang victory completely destroyed 100,000 reinforcements of the Ming dynasty. This was a glorious and thorough victory, which had decisive significance for the victory of the Lam Son uprising launched and commanded by Le Loi.
