Nghe An: 50 works on display at the Art Photography Exhibition 'Lotus Life'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Statue, Vinh City (Nghe An), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with Nghe An province to organize the opening of the "Lotus Life" Art Photography Exhibition.
As part of the series of activities to celebrate the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022), the 2022 Lotus Village Festival and the art program "Mother of Lotus Village",Photo Exhibition“Lotus Life” art exhibition displays 50 works by photographer Tran Bich from Ho Chi Minh City.

The art works displayed at the exhibition are about lotus life, women and lotus.Lotusboth noble, pure and simple, especially in any environment, always rising up, affirming a strong vitality. Therefore, the lotus symbolizes the beautiful image of Vietnamese women with the qualities of endurance, hard work and great sacrifice, always protecting, caring for, raising and educating children to become good people.
The works displayed at the “Lotus Life” Art Photography Exhibition were highly appreciated by the public for their content quality and artistic expression. Thereby, affirming the humanistic beauty of the works and the dedication and talent of Photographer Tran Bich.

After the exhibition, the ArtistPhotographyTran Bich will hand over the exhibited works to the Vietnam Women's Union for auction and will use all proceeds to implement the programs "Accompanying women in the border areas" and "Godmother" launched by the Union.
The "Lotus Life" Art Photography Exhibition takes place from May 14 to May 19, 2022 at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Statue.

Photographer Tran Bich's real name is Tran Van Bich, born in 1946 in Khanh Hoa province. He is a businessman, and has been taking up photography since 2002 as a hobby and entertainment after stressful working hours. In early March 2009, he began his passion for taking pictures of lotus flowers, and since then has traveled across the country to find the beauty of this famous flower.
To date, author Tran Bich has successfully organized 19 lotus photo exhibitions, raising a total of more than 3 billion VND. He has donated all of this money to orphans, disabled children, lonely elderly people and people in difficult circumstances... at the exhibition locations.
