Nghe An: Closing of the Spring Newspaper Festival Canh Ty 2020
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 3, the Closing Ceremony of the Canh Ty Spring Newspaper Festival 2020 took place in Quynh Luu district.
Attending the closing ceremony were representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, Nghe An Journalists Association, representatives of a number of provincial departments and offices and leaders of Quynh Luu district.

The 2019 Nghe An Province Canh Ty Spring Newspaper Festival was held in Quynh Luu District from January 18, 2020 to February 3, 2020. This is the 18th year that the Nghe An Spring Newspaper Festival has been held at the grassroots level.
With the theme "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring - Celebrating the country and homeland's renewal", the Canh Ty Spring Press Fair 2020 displayed and introduced to the public publications of Nghe An press and 117 newspapers and magazines with over 1,000 publications of central press agencies, branches and provinces and cities across the country, 90 Press and Art photos of the Art Press Photo Club of Nghe An Journalists Association.

As an annual cultural activity, the Spring Press Festival is an opportunity to commend and honor the achievements in the renovation of the homeland and country. Thereby, affirming the role of the press in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded and commended the display booths and the special magazine and newspaper covers welcoming the Spring of Canh Ty; commended the collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements participating in the Spring Press Festival 2020, and awarded the "Nghe An Press Traditional Tet Issue - Spring Canh Ty 2020".
Accordingly, 8 press agencies were awarded A prize, 2 press agencies were awarded B prize for display booths, newspaper and magazine covers. There were 22 works awarded in the contest "Nghe An Press Traditional Tet issue - Spring Canh Ty 2020".
