Nghe An: New Covid-19 cases have complicated epidemiological histories and have been in contact with many people

Morning of November 22,Nghe An45 new Covid-19 infections were recorded, including 4 community cases, including 3 cases in Nghia Dan district and 1 case in Tan Ky district.

In Nghia Dan district, 3 cases of Covid-19 infection in the community reside in 3 blocks in Nghia Dan town including Tan Hoa, Tan Minh and Tan Mai blocks. The locality has locked down the patients' residences and taken samples for testing from people in the area.

According to the Nghia Dan town government, these are 3 infected cases with a very complicated epidemiological history. In the past, they had eaten together in many places, went to karaoke, played billiards... Therefore, the risk of spreading the disease to the community is very high.

The locality has now traced 45 F1s who came into contact with these 3 F0s, and the number of F1s is expected to increase as patients continue to declare. Nghia Dan town has also temporarily suspended in-person classes for students in the area and organized online classes. At the same time, a notice was issued to find people who had been to places where Covid-19 patients had been.

For community cases in Nghia Hoan commune,Tan Ky districtThe locality has temporarily set up checkpoints to control people entering and leaving the entire Thuan Yen hamlet, where the patient lives with more than 200 households and more than 600 people.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Chairman of Nghia Hoan Commune People's Committee said: "This patient has not moved much recently, however, the family sells fruit and occasionally sells food to regular customers. The locality has traced 40 F1 of the patient and quarantined them at a production facility that has stopped operating in the area. Currently, the patient's parents have been tested quickly and also tested positive for Covid - 19".

1. Patient VVT, male, born in 1975. Address: Nghia Dan Town, Nghia Dan District. The patient is a long-distance driver traveling from Binh Duong to Nghia Dan. The patient was monitored at home and had samples taken for testing. On the evening of November 21, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient N.D.D, male, born in 1976. Address: Nghia Dan Town, Nghia Dan District. Patient in contact with Patient VVT was announced at the same time. Immediately after Patient VVT tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the patient was sampled for testing. On the morning of November 22, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient TTH, male, born in 1981. Address: Nghia Dan Town, Nghia Dan District. The patient who had contact with patient VVT was announced at the same time. Immediately after patient VVT tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the patient was sampled. On the morning of November 22, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient V.D.T, male, born in 1983. Address: Thuan Yen hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune, Tan Ky district. The patient had symptoms of fever, cough, and sore throat and was hospitalized at the Department of Internal Medicine - Tan Ky Medical Center and had a rapid test with negative results. On November 21, the patient's sample was taken and sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 21, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
