Nghe An provides 486,445 tons of cement to localities to build new rural areas

(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, Nghe An has provided support to localities in a total of 5 batches with a quantity of 486,445 tons of cement (including additional targets) equivalent to 2,534 km of concrete roads.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, from 2013 to now, Nghe An has supported localities with 5 batches of cement, specifically: Batch 1: 96,514 tons; Batch 2: 106,639 tons; Batch 3: 124,142 tons; Batch 4: 118,200 tons and Batch 5: 40,950 tons.

With support from cement, up to now the whole province has completed 2,035km/2,534km of the plan, reaching 80.3% of the plan, equivalent to 409,079 tons worth 598,288 billion VND.

By March 2016, Nghe An had 114 communes meeting NTM standards.
