Provincial People's CommitteeNghe Anhas issued Decision No. 3896/QD-UBND on Temporary regulations on a number of measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic to "Safely and flexibly adapt and effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic" for each epidemic level in the area.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province announced that the epidemic level of Nghe An province is level 2. At the district level, level 2 includes Vinh city, Hung Nguyen district and Nam Dan district; level 1 is the remaining 18 districts and towns.

Business and service types are also operated according to the service level of each locality.

For indoor and outdoor gatherings at level 1, there is no limit on the number of people, and at level 2, there are conditional restrictions. Weddings and funerals are supervised by local authorities at levels 2, 3, and 4.

Production and business establishments, enterprises, industrial parks/clusters, export processing zones, economic zones, cooperatives, households engaged in agricultural, forestry, fishery, salt production and business, project construction units, and construction works are allowed to operate at 4 levels.

Shopping malls, supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesale markets; restaurants, traditional markets are allowed to operate at 3 levels. At level 4, operations are restricted. In addition, measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic must be ensured.

Thebusiness establishmentServices with a high risk of infection such as beauty salons, massage parlors, karaoke bars, Internet bars, and video games are allowed to operate at level 1. With the condition that 100% of workers must be fully vaccinated; have recovered from COVID-19 and have a valid negative SARS-CoV-2 test.

Resorts, hotels, motels, sightseeing tours; cultural and artistic performances, and sports activities are allowed to operate at 3 levels.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Nghe An has had 2,176 COVID-19 patients, of which 19 have died, 1,905 have been discharged from hospital and 252 patients are currently being treated. Since October 1, Nghe An has had 20,324 people from southern provinces and cities return to their hometowns and 208 patients have been detected.
