On April 24, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 2518/UBND-VX on the implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns; Heads of Departments, branches, sectors and units in the province.
The content of the dispatch clearly states that, based on Notice No. 164/TB-VPCP dated April 23, 2020 of the Government Office on the implementation of the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Government Standing Committee meeting on Covid-19 prevention and control; Based on the developments of the epidemic situation in Nghe An province, while ensuring that social activities gradually return to normal and adapt to the new stage, the Provincial People's Committee allows the organization ofsome rituals, religious activities, beliefsbut it is required to fully implement epidemic prevention and control measures according to the instructions of the health sector, it is mandatory to wear masks, keep a minimum distance of 2m, fully arrange antiseptic and disinfectant solutions, and disinfect religious facilities before and after performing rituals;Suspend large ceremonies and mass gatherings.
