Nghe An: Choose May every year as the month to promote the implementation of social insurance and health insurance for all people

This change aims to ensure consistency in leadership and direction in implementing social insurance and health insurance policies from the central to local levels, in accordance with the actual situation of the province.

To effectively implement the month of mobilizing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance for all people, on May 21, 2021, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also issued Plan No. 288/KH-UBND dated May 21, 2021 on Organizing the Month of mobilizing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance for all people, and propaganda activities on social insurance and health insurance in 2021.

In order for the propaganda activities in the Campaign Month and in 2021 to meet the set goals and requirements, the Provincial People's Committee has stipulated the theme of propaganda for social insurance and health insurance policies in 2021 as "Social insurance and health insurance for everyone".

The main message of the year is “Social insurance, health insurance - Health today, social security tomorrow”.

With this theme and message, the Month of Movement and ActivitySocial insurance and health insurance propagandaIn 2021, the province will deploy two main groups of activities, including:

First: Attention-grabbing propaganda activities: This activity aims to attract attention and raise awareness and participation of Vietnamese people in social insurance and health insurance. Accordingly, localities simultaneously deploy propaganda activities to attract attention and spread propaganda messages to all people.

Second: Activities to promote and mobilize employers and employees to participate in social insurance and health insurance: This activity aims to promote the support and participation of employers and employees in social insurance and health insurance; focusing on employees in the informal sector. Accordingly, the Social Insurance Agency, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinate with relevant local agencies to carry out activities to promote and ensure that employers and employees comply with the provisions of the law; activities to promote and mobilize people to participate in social insurance and health insurance, focusing on voluntary social insurance policies for employees in the informal sector and family health insurance policies, health insurance for households with average living standards.

The propaganda channels used are direct and indirect propaganda channels through propaganda media.

Propaganda means include: Propaganda via the Internet, mobile platforms and mass media; Propaganda through propaganda documents and items and direct propaganda.

In order for the propaganda activities in the Mobilization Month and in 2021 to achieve the goals and requirements, the Provincial People's Committee requests the Departments, branches, units, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to proactively develop detailed plans and coordinate with the Social Insurance agency to implement them in the industry and localities to ensure effectiveness./.
