Nghe An: Preparing to issue standards for equipment and machinery in public service units

(Baonghean.vn) - The draft regulation compiled by the Department of Finance and advised to the Provincial People's Committee has more than 4,000 categories under 500 million VND included in the standards and norms (type, quantity) of specialized machinery and equipment that need to be equipped for state agencies, organizations, and public service units in the province.

At the meeting, many opinions expressed the need to clearly define how many types, quantities, and specific machinery and equipment are included in the standards and norms that need to be equipped. In addition, the quantity of equipment and the price also need to be calculated reasonably, from which it can be applied to the machinery categories in a long-term, stable manner, suitable for the needs of agencies and units when they need to purchase equipment for professional work.

Based on the comments at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai requested the Drafting Committee to synthesize, research, and have a clear plan, and at the same time continue to carefully survey the actual needs of departments, branches, and localities regarding the use of equipment to supplement the regulations.

Basically, after the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on regulations on standards and norms (types and quantities) of machinery and equipment, it will help state management agencies clearly understand assets in this field and the principles of machinery outside the list that units cannot purchase themselves.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai requested the Department of Finance to specifically coordinate with departments and branches to fully synthesize, and by early June 2017 at the latest, the Provincial People's Committee will issue and implement this Regulation. The early issuance of the Regulation on specialized machinery and equipment is the basis for all levels and branches to effectively manage and exploit public assets.
