Nghe An has 113 ship owners approved for loans under Decree 67.

(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 years of implementing Decree 67/2014/ND-CP, by the end of June 2016, in Nghe An province, there were 113 ship owners approved by the Provincial People's Committee as eligible to borrow capital according to regulations.

In order to continue supporting fishermen to go offshore and effectively implement Decree 67/2014/ND-CP of the Government, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has directed relevant departments, branches and sectors to implement many synchronous solutions. Up to now, after 2 years of implementing Decree 67, in the whole province, 113 ship owners have been approved to be eligible for loans. Including 29 iron-hulled ships, 78 wooden-hulled ships and 6 composite-hulled ships.

36 ship owners have signed credit contracts (7 iron ships, 4 composite ships, 25 wooden ships), with a total disbursed loan value of VND 203,334 billion/VND 314,953 billion. Currently, 25 newly built ships have been completed and put into operation.

In general, all the vessels put into operation are effective, especially there are vessels that earn from 400 - 700 million VND/month, the fishing vessel of Mr. Hoang Duc Men (Quynh Luu) in June 2016 achieved a revenue of more than 1 billion VND; the wooden-hulled vessel for 4-sao trawling has a profit of 150 - 200 million VND per trip; the steel-hulled vessel for sparse trawling of ship owner Nguyen Van Phuong (Hoang Mai Town) has a profit of 300 - 400 million VND per trip.
