Nghe An has a new Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung was elected Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018 - 2023 term.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 10, the 9th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Nghe An province, term 2018 - 2023, introduced the new Executive Committee; at the same time, announced the elected delegates for the positions of President and Vice President of the Association.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's departments; Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

Decision No. 2365 dated October 23 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee recognized and transferred comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Nghe An province, term IX, 2018 - 2023.

In his congratulatory speech to the new Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of comrade Nguyen Quang Tung during his work in many positions.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Nghe An is a province with agriculture accounting for a large proportion in the economic structure. With the responsibility of the head of the Association, comrade Nguyen Quang Tung needs to make efforts, together with the collective of the Provincial Farmers' Association, to promote the advisory team of the Party Committee, well implement the Party's policies, affirm the role and bring the Association's emulation movement to meet the requirements in the new situation.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son requested that Party committees of the Provincial Party Committee and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to the Farmers' Association movement.

The new Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Nguyen Quang Tung, expressed his honor and pride when being elected by the 9th Provincial Farmers' Congress to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association and promised to devote all his efforts to fulfilling the task of developing the Provincial Farmers' Association movement, contributing to the construction and development of the province.
