Previously, these 7 people lost contact in the flood on the night of September 13 while picking bamboo shoots in the forest. Local authorities and relatives successfully organized a search.

After the flood, people in Chau Hoi commune went to the river to collect firewood, which was very dangerous to their lives.

According to information from Mr. Nguyen Sy Luan - Vice Chairman of Chau Hoi Commune People's Committee, Quy Chau District, at around 9:30 am this morning (September 15), all 7 people (6 men, 1 woman) of Chau Hoi Commune who lost contact after the flood on the evening of September 13 were found by relatives in the Tan stream area, bordering Thanh Quan Commune, Nhu Thanh District (Thanh Hoa) with Chau Hoi Commune, Quy Chau District.

It is known that this group of 7 people were picking bamboo shoots in the deep forest when, due to sudden rain and flood at night, all their belongings were swept away by the water. Luckily, all 7 people managed to climb up the mountain to escape. During the time of losing contact and having no food, this group had to eat leaves, tubers, and fruits in the forest to survive.

Now, relatives are bringing them home from the deep forest.
