Nghe An is quarantining 7 people in close contact with Covid-19 patients

On the morning of February 2, the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province announced that the test results of two people who were F1 cases from Binh Duong returning to Thanh Chi commune (Thanh Chuong) were both negative for SARS-CoV-2 for the first time.

These two students study at Thu Dau Mot University. On the morning of January 30, both students, one boarded a plane and the other took a train to their hometown in Thanh Chuong. According to their declarations, during their time at school, both had close contact with a female classmate who had just tested positive for Covid-19.

After the Ministry of Health announced this case, both students went to the Commune Health Station to declare and had their samples taken for testing, and were quarantined right at the station.

Also according to CDC Nghe An, up to now the whole provinceThere are 7 people in F1 category.are being quarantined. Of these, 3 are from Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Quynh Luu, Nam Dan districts, and Vinh city, each has 1 person.

All of these people have tested negative for Covid-19 the first time. In addition, Nghe An also has 43 people in the F2 category, all of whom have also tested negative for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, according to a report from the Department of Health, on February 1 alone, Nghe An province received 1,215 new quarantined cases, bringing the total number of people being quarantined and monitored to 3,724 cases.

Of these, 3,363 cases returned from epidemic areas across the country. To date, Nghe An has taken 32,722 samples for Covid-19 testing, of which 32,656 were negative, and 66 samples are awaiting results.
