According to the Department of Health, as of the evening of March 2, Nghe An province is quarantining and monitoring 378 cases to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
Specifically, there are 355 cases being quarantined at home and in the community. Of these, 176 people returned from South Korea, 11 people from mainland China, 68 people from Taiwan...
There are 17 cases in centralized quarantine at the district level. Of these, 13 cases returned from Korea, one case was in close contact with someone returning from Korea, and 3 cases returned from China and Taiwan.

In addition, Nghe An is also quarantining 6 other cases at the hospital. Of these, 5 people returned from South Korea (2 cases returned from the Daegu epidemic center, 2 people returned from the North Gyeongsang epidemic center and 1 person returned from China). These 5 cases have had negative test results, stable health and continue to be monitored for 14 days. In particular, 1 case at Nam Dan District Medical Center returned from Osan (South Korea) with a mild fever, has had samples taken for testing and sent to Hanoi, and is being closely monitored.
Thus, just for cases returning from Korea, there are 194 people being quarantined and medically monitored in Nghe An. Most of them are quarantined at home.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) announced today that the country has 477 more cases of nCoV infection, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 4,812 and the number of deaths to 28. About 60% of the infections are related to a branch of the Shincheonji religious sect in Daegu, South Korea's fourth largest city with a population of 2.5 million.
