Nghe An won first prize at the 2016 Good and Safe Driving Competition of the Transport Industry

(Baonghean.vn) - From November 27 to November 29, 2016 in Hanoi, the "2016 Vietnam Transport Industry Good and Safe Driving Competition" was co-organized by the National Traffic Safety Committee, Vietnam Transport Trade Union and Vietnam Automobile Transport Association. After 3 days of exciting competition, the competition was a great success.

The contest gathered 105 contestants from 27 groups from provinces and cities across the country, competing in 3 vehicle categories (cars, trucks and passenger cars). Through 3 rounds, the Organizing Committee selected 3 outstanding groups and 18 individuals to perform in the theoretical part of understanding traffic safety laws, the practical part with 10 consecutive tests and the traffic culture behavior part to award prizes.

Nghe An delegation was honored to receive the first prize from the organizing committee, 4/6 contestants participating in the competition won prizes including: Cao Ba Quyen won second prize; Ngo Sy Hanh and Nguyen Thanh Binh won third prize; Ngo Van Binh won consolation prize.

Speaking at the contest, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Hong Truong highly appreciated the organization of the contest, affirming that this is a very meaningful contest in contributing to reducing traffic accidents, and needs to be expanded and spread.
