According to this plan, regarding communication and prevention work, Nghe An province will continue to include the content of propaganda on preventing and combating human trafficking in the monthly propaganda orientation at the press conference; orient press agencies to build and maintain specialized pages and columns and increase broadcasting time, reporting on mass media and grassroots institutional systems, especially focusing on activities responding to National Day and International Day against Trafficking in Persons - July 30, 2021.
Along with that, organize the dissemination and education of law, especially the Penal Code (amended) and newly issued related legal documents to raise awareness for all levels, sectors and people to proactively prevent and actively participate in preventing and combating human trafficking crimes; effectively implement professional work to grasp the situation, focus on investigating, collecting, promptly supplementing and adjusting information on key areas and routes, networks, organizations and individuals with signs of suspected human trafficking activities; organize a peak period of attacking and suppressing human trafficking crimes, focusing on key routes and areas, especially the border with Laos...

Carry out the work of receiving, verifying, identifying and providing initial support to victims; take measures to protect victims, minors accompanying victims and their relatives during the process of verifying, receiving, supporting victims and resolving cases according to the provisions of law.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee in directing and implementing the program to prevent and combat human trafficking crimes. The Provincial Border Guard Command resolutely and synchronously deployed measures to prevent, detect and suppress human trafficking crimes in border areas and sea routes, and coordinated the organization to receive victims of human trafficking who were returned in border areas.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs shall promptly implement policies and services to support victims of human trafficking in accordance with regulations, creating more favorable conditions for victims to soon stabilize their lives and integrate into the community. Strengthen the management of labor export and import activities, and prevent human trafficking crimes from taking advantage of the activities.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned other departments, branches and organizations to coordinate in implementing measures to propagate and prevent human trafficking, first of all, raising awareness and consciousness of the work of preventing and combating human trafficking among cadres and employees under their management.
