With a test with a fairly high classification, many candidates were quite worried about the results because they did not complete the entire test.

In Vinh city, the cool weather on the last day of the exam was a very favorable condition for candidates during the exam.

This year's Math exam was rated by candidates as highly classified, with the Geometry question being difficult. At the Le Viet Thuat High School exam site, one of the exam sites with the largest number of registered candidates in the province, the competition rate was high, with no candidate finishing the exam early.

Candidate Van Ngoc Anh Thu said that the Math test has 5 questions, of which the first 3 questions in the Algebra section cover basic knowledge, so many candidates will be able to do the test.

The test starts from question 4 of the Geometry section. Question 4a is not too difficult if you read the test carefully. But I could not do questions 4b, 4c and 5, even though I had only finished half of the test time after completing questions 1, 2, 3 and 4a.

Meanwhile, Thai Duc Nam - a student at Hong Son Secondary School expressed regret for not completing question 4a. Nam said he got about 7 points, even though his goal for Math was higher.

Similarly, Dinh Tu Quynh - a student at Ben Thuy Secondary School also said that the official Math exam was at the same level as the mock exam of the Department of Education. Dinh Tu Quynh said that she registered her first choice at Le Viet Thuat High School, a school with a high competition rate, especially before the exam, many students transferred their application from other schools to this school. Therefore, she set a goal of getting a high score in this exam. With the two subjects of Literature and English, she did better and was confident of getting a high score. However, the Math subject was not as expected. At the end of the 10th grade entrance exam, the female student shared that she was not satisfied with her exams, but mainly the Math subject "pulled her score down". Tu Quynh hopes that she still has enough points to be admitted to her favorite school.

In Do Luong district, the candidates entered the Math exam with good spirits, the weather was quite cool compared to yesterday's exam day.

At the end of the exam, most of the candidates were excited because they did quite well on the exam. Dang Quang Dung, a 9th grade student at Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, happily said: "I was able to do over 70% of the math questions. However, I could not do question number 5 and part c of question number 4."

Sharing the same sentiment, Nguyen Trong Hieu, class 9A - Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School said: "This year, I and most of my classmates did well on the Math test. As for me, I only couldn't do option c in question number 4."

Evaluating the exam, Mr. Vo Van Binh - Math teacher - Do Luong 1 High School said that this year's exam has the same structure as previous years. In which, part c of question 4 about Geometry and question 5 about solving equations are always difficult questions to classify good students and get high scores.

At the end of the Math exam, contestant Nguyen Thi Bao Chau - a student at Hanh Thiet Secondary School shared: "The exam to get the maximum score is very difficult because questions 4 and 5 require very careful preparation. The exam is not too difficult for me and my friends, I think I got about 8 to 8.5 points in this exam.

After reviewing the exam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang - Math teacher at Hanh Thiet Secondary School commented: The exam is close to the structure and follows the Ministry of Education and Training's instructions for reducing the workload. The exam has 4 levels: recognition, understanding, application and high application. In which, the recognition and understanding levels account for 50 - 60% of the total score, the application and high application levels account for 40 - 50% of the total score.

In which, the level of recognition, understanding and application is in questions 1, 2 and 3. As for the level of application and high application is in questions 4 and 5. For question 3 this year compared to question 3 last year, the data is clear and easy to analyze. As for question 5, it accounts for 1/10 of the exam score, this is a question for excellent students, to solve this problem, students must have a lot of knowledge, be well-practiced, and be in the Provincial Excellent Student Team.

At the end of the 10th grade entrance exam, at the Quy Chau High School exam site, in the first two subjects of Math and English, 5 candidates were absent from the exam, and 1 more candidate was absent from the Math exam, bringing the number of absent candidates to 6. During the exam, no candidates or teachers violated the exam regulations, and security and order, traffic safety were also strictly checked to ensure the exam was safe.

After the exam, Vu Manh Cuong from Tra Lan Secondary School assessed that the Math exam was not easy, only students with good academic performance could complete the requirements of the exam. For students with average academic performance, they could only complete about 40-50% of the exam. According to Cuong, the most difficult exam was the Geometry section. Personally, he could only complete 50%, and that was not necessarily correct.

Candidate Phan Sy Nguyen, class 9A, Con Cuong town secondary school, commented that the exam was highly differentiated. This year's exam was longer but easier than last year's. The content of the exam was mainly in the 9th grade curriculum. There were difficult questions to classify excellent students to get 9 and 10 points. Meanwhile, according to many math teachers in Thai Hoa and Nghia Dan, this year's exam has a similar structure to last year's. The exam is not difficult, but if candidates do not have a firm grasp of the knowledge, they will not be able to solve it. This year's exam has questions that differentiate candidates. Average students can get 6-7 points, while good students can get 8-9 points on this exam.
