Nghe An: Two sisters fell into a pond, the 5-year-old sister died
(Baonghean.vn)- While playing around a pond near their house, two siblings in Quynh Thanh commune, Quynh Luu unfortunately slipped and fell into the water, one of them died.
On the afternoon of July 18, Mr. Tran Van Trung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Thanh commune, Quynh Luu district, said that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area.

According to initial information, on the same morning, two children of Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan's family, residing in Hamlet 11, went to play in the pond near their house. Due to slipping, the two sisters unfortunately fell into the pond.
Discovering the incident, a child playing with him quickly ran back to inform Mr. Thuan's family. Thinking that only one child had drowned, after finding the youngest child, Nguyen Dang Kh. (3 years old), Mr. Thuan rushed him to the hospital for emergency treatment.

After more than an hour, when they discovered that their daughter Nguyen Thi NH (born in 2014) was nowhere to be found, relatives organized a search. At this point, the family realized that H. was playing with her younger brother, so they waded into the pond to look for her. However, it was too late, the 5-year-old girl had passed away.
According to family members on duty at Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, the prognosis of baby boy Nguyen Dang Kh. is very bad.
