Nghe An learns from Quang Ninh's administrative reform experience

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 26, a delegation of leaders of Nghe An province visited and learned from experience.in administrative reform in Quang Ninh to build a modern, transparent and effective Nghe An province administration.

The delegation included comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of leaders of provincial departments and branches.

Receiving and working with the delegation on August 26, on the side of Quang Ninh province, there was comrade Dang Duy Hau - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and many leaders of provincial departments and branches.

On the first working day, the delegation visited the Public Administration Center of Uong Bi city and the Public Administration Center of Quang Ninh province, listening to the leaders of Quang Ninh province introduce the benefits and effectiveness of administrative reform, especially the construction of the Public Administration Center.

Quang Ninh is one of the earliest provinces to build a Public Administration Center model. Thanks to the promotion of administrative reform, the business environment of this province has improved significantly. The PCI (Provincial Competitiveness Index) has been among the top in the country in recent years.

After the construction of the Public Administration Center, administrative procedures were significantly reduced in processing time compared to the time prescribed by law, thus creating maximum convenience for organizations and citizens.

Appreciating the administrative reform efforts of Quang Ninh province, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong expressed his wish that local leaders create favorable conditions and help Nghe An in this matter. “Quang Ninh province has similar conditions to Nghe An. Therefore, the administrative model, especially the Public Administration Center of Quang Ninh, will be suitable when Nghe An implements it,” emphasized the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

Quang Ninh is one of the localities that has done well in administrative reform.

Considering that the model of the Investment Promotion and Support Board of Quang Ninh province is part of the administrative reform model that brings high efficiency and creates a good business environment, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh said that Nghe An province will also implement this model in the near future. Initially, the agencies will be assigned to develop a project to establish the "Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development Board" under the Provincial People's Committee. To successfully implement this model, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the leaders of Quang Ninh will help in consulting and sending experts to Nghe An to advise on the construction.

The Nghe An delegation also visited a number of key projects in Quang Ninh province. It is expected that tomorrow (August 27), the leaders of Nghe An and Quang Ninh provinces will continue to discuss this issue.
