Nghe An signs cooperation agreement with KV Holdings, Korea
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of July 26, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of KV Holdings Joint Stock Company, Korea to discuss and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in attracting investment.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Mun Byungkwan - Chairman of KV Holdings Joint Stock Company, Korea.
KV Holdings Joint Stock Company is a multi-functional company, including the field of investment connection between Korean government agencies, large corporations and companies in Korea in promoting overseas investment.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed the contents mentioned in the investment cooperation agreement. Accordingly, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Korean enterprises that have invested in Nghe An in the past time.
He affirmed that the provincial leaders and relevant sectors will always strive to create favorable conditions for Korean investors to smoothly implement projects in President Ho Chi Minh's hometown. At the same time, he emphasized that with the active support of KV Holdings Company, Nghe An will organize an investment promotion conference in Seoul this coming September.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa emphasized that Nghe An province always strives for the success of enterprises in general and Korean enterprises in particular because the success of enterprises is also the success of Nghe An.
Mr. Mun Byungkwan - Chairman of KV Holdings Joint Stock Company, Korea thanked the provincial leaders and related units for their good feelings and favorable conditions for Korean enterprises. A representative of KV Holdings Joint Stock Company also informed the progress of the expected research cooperation between the Korea Medical Industry Development Institute and a number of enterprises in the Keasong Industrial Park in Nghe An after field visits, surveys and research at a number of localities and units in Nghe An.

After discussion and reaching a high level of consensus, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement to maximize the benefits of both sides in attracting foreign investment to Nghe An province, encouraging and promoting investment and business cooperation activities between Vietnamese and Korean enterprises in general; Nghe An enterprises and enterprises from Korean localities in particular.

The content of the cooperation agreement includes: 1. KV Holdings Joint Stock Company will support foreign investment attraction activities and related investment promotion programs as proposed by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to call for investors to pay attention and implement investment and business activities in Nghe An province. 2. KV Holdings Joint Stock Company will take on the role of assisting the People's Committee of Nghe An province in connecting investments, conducting public relations to implement programs, plans, and organizing other necessary investment promotion events to attract investment in Nghe An province, including connecting with government agencies, corporations and other relevant organizations in Korea that are interested and wish to invest in Nghe An province (including mobilizing to attract ODA capital, Korean FDI into Nghe An province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam). 3. The People's Committee of Nghe An province commits to create the most favorable conditions for KV Holdings Company in implementing investment and business activities in Nghe An province on the basis of Vietnamese Law. Specifically: - Facilitate KV Holdings Joint Stock Company to propose Korean celebrities for public relations campaigns in Nghe An province; - Provide consulting support on investment and business activities for Korean companies, organizations and individuals interested in the Vietnamese market in general and Nghe An province in particular in accordance with current regulations of Vietnamese law. - Closely cooperate with Korean investment companies to provide a stable local workforce to implement production and business projects in Nghe An; - Cooperate to train Korean for Vietnamese experts, engineers, technical workers, and laborers working in projects or factories, production and business workshops in Nghe An; - Other cooperation to attract foreign investment under this agreement. 4. The two Parties shall regularly provide databases on investment attraction, investment incentive policies, business, experience and knowledge for attracting foreign investment within the relevant laws of the two countries. |
